DAY 01. NIGHT FISHING

Pick up you from airport or bus station and departure to the Tambopata river for star our wild fishing trip, We will drive the Road Interoceanica an average of 48 km, then enter a dirt road by middle of the forest for approximately 18 km to the banks of the Tambopata River where we will embark a boat for continuous our trip. We will go upstream for approximately 2 hours until we reach a beach on the banks of the river to camp and fish at night, to continue the next day in the direction of Candamo River. Where we will find a huge big fishes like a  Sungaro (tigrinus Brachyplatystoma) this cat fish can weighs more than 150 pounds. Catch  this huge fish will be our expedition challenge.

DAY 02. FULL DAY FISHING

The next day we will continue our trip upriver, where we will have the opportunity to fish in special places that we know to have more luck in fishing. For lunch we will prepare local dishes with the fish caught. After a delicious lunch we will continue traveling until we find a comfortable place near the river to camp and fish at night.

DAY 03 & DAY 04 LOOKING A HUGE FISH IN CANDAMO RIVER

Finally after so much traveling we arrived at the place, the paradise of every fisherman. We will spend these 2 days fishing as much as possible. You don’t have to worry about anything. Our fishing destinations are often in areas we prefer not to talk too much about; secret streams, hidden lakes and hard to find holes that we only share with our clients. You will enjoy the contact with nature through continuous boat rides on the warm waters of the Tambopata and Candamo River, observing the beauty of its majestic landscapes. You will stop at different fishing spots to try to catch the different species of fish that the amazon peruvian offer. You will be able to share and acquire new experiences and knowledge of freshwater sport fishing during the days. These places are not for everyone: some require extra effort to reach, but the rewards are unmatched. Dare to join us and we will guide you through the hidden wonders of the great Peruvian Amazon.

DAY 5.-  TAMBOPATA NATIONAL RESERVE

We get up early, pack our things and head to a lodge in the middle of the jungle, which is located downstream. On the way back, we will make stops to catch some of the fish species we missed. Approximately at night we will arrive at our lodge, where the last nice dinner of our trip will be waiting for us. Our Tambopata Amazon lodge connect guests to the vast and remote wilderness of the Tambopata National Reserve without sacrificing comfort or accessibility.

DAY 6.- RETURN TO PUERTO MALDONADO

We will make up with the sounds of the birds and probably howler monkeys, will get our breakfast and then we will go for an extra fishing activity that will depend on your flight back to Lima or Cusco. Anayways we will manage to give you a morning activity before you leave the lodge.
