Join us in search of the exclusive Royal CINCLODES one of the many cool birds along the Valley where is located on the heights of the Veronica Mountain in Abra Malaga-Near Ollantaytambo.

DAY 01.- ABRA MALAGA AT 4316MTS
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco or Ollantaytambo Town to start our birding adventure. Ollantaytambo Town has also some good birds around that we can observe on the way as we head to Abra Malaga. And get to walk in the Polilepys Forest and Paramo Forest, looking for the rare Royal Cinclodes and the Endemics like White Browed Tit-Spinetail, White Tufted Sumbean, Junin Canastero, Striped Headed Antpitta, Tackzanowsky Ground Tyrant, Cordilleran Canastero, Junin Canastero, Line-fronted Canastero, Blue-Mantled Thornbill, Creamy Crested Spinetail, and the very Localized Ash Breasted Tit-Tyrant. Some more like Black Faced Ibis, Giant Conebill, Puna Tapaculo, and more.
Lunch will be taken somewhere with a nice view for you. Then we will be coming back later that day to Ollantaytambo Town for dinner and sleep. Overnight at Ollantaytambo
DAY 02 CHUSQUEA BAMBU FOREST
On our second day, we would drop to 2700 meters over the Abra Malaga Pass. There are unique target birds to be found in the Chusquea Bamboo Forest and intriguing vegetation covering this area. Like a Cusco Brush-Finch, Chestnut Bellied mountain Finch, Unstreaked Tit-Tyrant, Parodi’s Hemispingus plus Red and White Antpitta. Marcapata Spinetailt, Undulated Antpitta, Rusty Breasted Antpitta and others.
After a nice picnic lunch, we will look for some birds we did not see one day before. Late in the afternoon we will go back to Cusco or Ollantaytmabo.
