JAGUAR PHOTO TOUR
6 DAYS 5 NIGHTS
The Pantanal, located in the heart of South America and spanning Brazil, Bolivia, and Paraguay, is the largest continuous wetland on the planet. This extraordinary region captivates visitors with its lush landscapes and remarkable biodiversity. Its waters shape ever-changing scenery, creating ideal conditions for countless species from vibrant birds to iconic mammals to thrive.
Among its greatest treasures is one of the world’s densest Jaguar populations, making the Pantanal a must-see destination for wildlife enthusiasts. Here, every corner reveals the raw, vibrant essence of nature at its finest.
We recommend that passengers arrive in Cuiaba (airport code CGB) one day before the tour.
Upon arrival in Cuiabá. Our guides will be there to welcome you, help you settle in, and provide any assistance you need.
In the evening, we’ll gather for dinner and a brief orientation, giving you an overview of your upcoming adventure. Afterward, you’ll enjoy a good night’s rest in preparation for the excitement of tomorrow’s jungle exploration.
Day 1:
CUIABÁ – TRANSPANTANEIRA – LODGE
We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Cuiabá in a private van and set off toward the heart of the world’s largest wetland. The journey along the iconic Transpantaneira Highway takes about 5 to 6 hours—time enough for the adventure to begin. As we travel deeper into the Pantanal, the landscape comes alive around you: flocks of vibrant birds sweeping overhead, caimans sunning along the water’s edge, and capybaras grazing freely by the roadside.
By the time we reach the lodge in the late afternoon, you’ll already feel the thrill of being surrounded by true wilderness.
Day 2–5:
Our adventure begins at the break of dawn, as the Pantanal awakens in a burst of color and life. We will spend the next 4 days day exploring rivers through lush landscapes and wildlife thrives at every turn. To reach this stunning ecosystem, we board specially designed boats crafted for optimal wildlife observation. Gliding along the Cuiabá, Três Irmãos, and Piquiri rivers, you’ll experience some of the world’s most remarkable waterways—renowned as the best places on Earth to spot jaguars in their natural habitat.
Every moment is a thrill: jaguars prowling the riverbanks, giant river otters dancing through the streams, and flocks of vibrant birds filling the sky. Hidden surprises appear around every bend, from shy capybaras grazing on the shore to elusive creatures glimpsed through the reeds. Our expert guides share their knowledge, helping you track wildlife and interpret the rhythms of this extraordinary ecosystem.
From the quiet suspense of waiting for a jaguar to emerge to the awe of witnessing rare species in their natural environment, the day is a continuous journey of discovery. By sunset, you’ll have experienced the Pantanal in its purest, wildest form—immersed in one of the planet’s richest and most untamed habitats, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime.
DAY 6:
Back to Cuiabá
After breakfast, it’s time to head back to the city. Along the way, we’ll make stops to capture the stunning landscapes and any wildlife we encounter, giving you a few last moments to soak in the beauty of the Pantanal.
